Well, here she is. Lots of work to be done and I haven't plugged her in yet. The truss rod was too tight causing back bow but she is responding to adjustment. I'm making a list of things to do and parts to find.

Geez Louise...that has all the marks of a guitar that's never seen a stand or a case. The previous owner outta be drawn and quartered.

A couple of wires are disconnected and the volume pot is not original. Hopefully tonight I'll find out what it sounds like.

Hey my main bass doesn't look that much better. Punk rock gigs were hard on it. That and I got hit by a cab when I had it in a gig bag.

Well, I plugged her in tonight and several things became crystal clear.
- A couple of switch positions don't work but, with wires hanging loose, I expected that. No biggie, I'll tidy those up this weekend.
- The sorry excuse for a nut will be replaced but I've been toying with the idea of not using brass as was original. Its fairly bright as is.
- A level and crown is in its near future.
- The pickup selector switch is way sloppy in feel and performance.
- The tuners leave a fair amount to be desired as well.
- There's hardly any gold left on any of the hardware so I'm thinking of replacing with chrome.
- Not sure what pickups are in it yet but they are well worth the price I paid for the whole thing. :-?

I didn't expect it to sound like this. I'm very pleasantly surprised. :rockwoot:
