My AV330 is in need of a new 5-way Switch and new wiring - previous owner has done a bad Job. :barf:
A friend (tech) is doing this for me. He said a wiring diagram or wiring picture would help.
Anyone?

Thx, Johann

I don't have a 330 but it appears to have a mini switch which I'm guessing does something like series/parallel ?
Have a look at Deaf-Eddie...he seems to do a lot of stuff like this.

Here's some info to check out using push/pull switches: http://www.deaf-eddie.net/pushpull/pushpull.html Have a look at Project three and four for some ideas.

Guess it's the "out of phase-switch" which makes my tech ask for a wiring diagram!
(The usual Strat doesn't have this Switch.)
A pic would help!

If I remember right, only the '82 330s had the switch, which flipped the phase of the middle pickup. Mine doesn't have the switch, sorry.

To flip the phase is fairly easy, just cross the two leads to the other side of the dpdt switch.

Thanks for the pics, Don!

From what I can see your X-series guitar doesn't carry a phase-shift switch.
Anyone with a 3-single coil + phase switch ? They seem to be rare.... :D
