What I believe was once a 1723TD that I just rescued from a sorry fate...
https://imgur.com/a/zqEwiQOVibrato is a copper STB chrome Made in Japan
Serial plate is "Steel Adjustable Neck Made in Japan" beginning with 76 but not sure of year on this. Can see Westminster had an identical guitar in their 76 range though.
Tuners are Gotoh octagonals.
Body is in two halves of 3 pieces each - not sure what the wood is. Could be ash or maple. Any ideas?
It's had a hard life. A previous owner has profiled it on the bottom side of the back either for left handed or sitting down playing.
Neck is the same type as on the better Stagecasters with skunk and "plug" at the CBS type headstock. Logo has worn off but was a black "Aria" and nothing else.
Everything else was missing.
Need to smooth the frets, buy a nut and jack plate and will use the parts I stripped out of my souped up Diamond "bullet truss" Strat.
Paid about $85 incl postage - which sounds a lot - but stuff is just more expensive here in Denmark. I took a punt thinking if nothing else I can use the neck on something else.
