Unfortunately the blue you are seeing is not the translucent "see through" blue that appears on some models, so, none of the grain actually shows through. Actually the blue that does show, along with the white primer left over from the green paint job sort of looks like clouds against a blue sky. Was tempted to just clear coat over it "as is" and call it a day. Naw........

So, you're saying the color is yet to be nailed down, correct? Whats wrong with a nice red-orange?
You could go all out and use black hardware.
Just my personal preference. . . :D

Jorg :-?

Josh - Got your message and sent an email, just let me know.

Jorg - I like the red/orange idea, it just happens that my little collection is
allready skewed pretty heavily toward the reds, so I'm looking for something a little out of the ordinary, but thanks !

The little bit of blue with the white I could see in the 2 photos made me think of sky and clouds, too. Then for some reason I imagined *stickers of dairy cows on top of that, the black with white patches colored ones. Then you could "milk" that guitar for all sounds she's got!

*Reference one of Squid's guitars for more inspiration of sticker decorated guitars (must give credit where credit is due, and a disclaimer for honesty's sake, I've never personally attached a sticker to any guitar I've owned).

Disclaimer: I've never put the *first* sticker on any of my guitars. I have, however, taken it to an extreme once it's been started.

I used to work next door to a sticker factory, and they'd throw out huge reels of stickers that were mistakes or mis-colored. You should see my dirt bike. Heck, you should have been at my prom, I had about 2,000 YES, NO & MAYBE stickers with me, and made a point of labelling all the girls at the dance...

je

Moo.

Cows - of course. Have considered Holestein/dairy cow theme ( think Gateway computer boxes), not sure I'm artistic enough to pull that one off !

That would make it an Aria Pro 2 "Cowdinal" :D Ben&Jerry's had pretty decent cow-stickers a while ago to put on ice-cream fridges for promotional reasons.. if i can find some leftovers at the place where i work i'll let you know!
