If I am not mistaken, bondo is what I used to repair old plaster in the past...

I'll have to take a look at that since that hardens like cement and will not shrink.....

I still have to replace a pot on it before I close it off forever and the pots are out of stock right at the moment...Any one else know or used Bondo in the past for repairs?....

I used Bondo on a Epiphone SG (VCR Pick Guard which you may remember from another post) This is actually my first restore project, The only reason I was restoring it was for the practice. I never took any pictures before I refinished it. but the bondo worked quite well at covering up the large cracks that were in the body. no shrinking and it sanded very easily and the paint stuck well. I would recommend using Bondo but I am by no means an expert on the topic.

Yeah - bondo = Bondofill, a polyester resin used predominantly in the panel shops of the world! It's good stuff, though; I always have a small pot of it about as it's useful for a whole lot of things besides vehicle panel damage repair!!

Yes as others have already said I was talking about the autobody filler. Keep us posted.

I did a repair on a Squire tele once with Bondo, covered nicely didn't shrink in the last two years and the owner loved it! I have a twelve string exactly like your Aria same color and seems nice, still working on electrics. Can't expect much for eighty bucks.
