I was not looking at making her gloss so much... she was still mat up to about the 6-7 coat of oil but now.... the buildup of oil really puts a deph perception on it and is turning as glossy as all the other Mats... Actually, if I'm lucky, you wont even be able to tell it was redone. It will look as pro or even better then the original...

I'm guessing that I will have about 18-20 coats of oil on her when done....

She is dry this morning... she will get a quick wet sanding to remove little bumps and dust that cling to her when dryng and will get another coat of oil...Funny but the bathroom makes a perfect paint room...I moop the floor before to remove dust and.... give her a coat of oil.. leave 1 light on to generate some heat and leave the fan on for ventilation, the door stays closed for min 16 hrs to minimise dust....

I'm hoping she comes out as good as I want her too....

P.

She got a very agressive leveling wet sanding with 400 paper at the begining of the week. She got a oil coat and is dry right now.. she will get a quik wet sand with 1200 paper and another oil coat today... will try to take pictures before the wetsanding outside...
