I'm getting anxious for you to finish..!

Looking great, Pierre. I'm wondering what you'll be doing with the electrics; restore to 'factory spec' or a simpler setup..?

LOL...It took me wayyyy longer to complete and I really over did it with the oil coats... :loon: The logo was part of the problem, first getting it done and after applying it to an open grain platform.... :-? Live and learn... Still very happy with the outcome so far.

Ah Ha :yeah: Another little dilema that has been bugging the hell out of me.... After lots of reflection decided to go full custom on this baby.

First, The original pups (MMK 53's) from this guitar will get swapped with the SD that came with my 912 here:
viewtopic.php?f=13&t=6007
Making the 912 full original and this baby some custom killer SD pups

Second, the electronics will go to this VA900 that I got in the past :
viewtopic.php?f=13&t=5547
The electronics plus a set of MMK53's that I got for her will make her complete, thus giving me another complete and original VA900 with the small repair on her

For this Baby my VA910, decided to go with this set up:

Guitar wiring diagram with 2 humbuckers, 3-way Toggle switch, two volumes and one tone control and three mini switches. One mini toggle switch selects Series/Single Coil (North)/Parallel for the neck pickup, one mini toggle switch selects between Series/Single Coil (South)/Parallel for the bridge pickup and one mini switch combines the neck and bridge pickups in series or parallel. Note: to access the neck + bridge series mode, the pickup selector must be in the neck position.

You can have a look at the diagram here:

Should make things very interesting and give me lots of options.... :hyper:

Need to pick up 2 mini switches since ran out and will start the wirering next week since have a full weekend ahead of me... no guitar work till next week... :bawl: I was told to take a break and work on other stuff.... :D

The oil finish will be cured so why not... This projet is really fun....

P.
