Nice job on that Conrad. They do sound good acoustically. Being fully hollow, my Raven can go from a warm jazz tone to country twang with a flick of the pickup selector. Great for blues tone too. Mind you, I have mini HB's in mine now. My only issue with this style of guitar is that the neck is quite narrow. It was great in the late 60's when my hands were small, but as an adult, I wish the neck was a bit wider.

Haha, yeah this thing has a wide range of tones........if ya turn the gain up to 11, it will crunch and rock out harder than my ibanez.... Very thick rythym sound, throw it to the bridge pickup, soaring leads......... Its so beautiful a tone that it brings a tear to your eye........ LOL

And i forgot to mention in regards to Fajah, i actually prefer narrower necks....

My roller bridge should be in any day now......

I'm considering a new roller bridge for my Raven. Which bridge did you buy that has the correct string spacing?

Sorry, havent been on the site in a while....

I got this one, but i didnt get it with the base... My base ened up needing to be sanded down considerably though, so i would reccomend this one.

I looked at that one. I buy from Bezdez whenever I can because they're here in Ontario and their prices are very good. I also save allot on shipping. I ended up placing an order with GFS for both a roller bridge and new neck. I love everything about my Raven but the neck is just too narrow for me. I'll should have the parts in any day.

I'll be posting my progress on this modification as I go along.

Haha nice! If you dont mind my asking, what neck did you get? Mine is actually warped a bit at the heel, such that the 14th fret buzzes... Look like right at the neck pocket is where the warp starts....i wonder how far the truss rod actually goes in the original necks, as it almost seems like thats the issue .
