The Guitar Gallery Forums - The Guitar Legacy of Matsumoku

So we all can get a better understanding of what our guitars, or the ones we're shopping for are worth, I thought I'd start this thread as a place to keep tabs on which Matsumoku Epis sell and what kind of prices they bring.
In the short time I've been keeping an eye on these guitars I've seen some wild fluctuations in the prices they bring.
Of course, all are welcome to post here (the more participation, the better) but please, don't post any links to ongoing eBay auctions as they just clutter up the board with expired links. It's better to capture a picture of the guitar from the listing, then post it here with the price that it sold for.
As for my part, rather than creating a post for each individual sale, I'm going to post one photo that's the most representative of that model (which I'll change as better pictures come along) then add dates and prices as more examples of that model sell. All dates and prices will be the results of eBay auction unless otherwise noted.

Which ones are Matsumoku again?

Likely at least some of the ET series, definitely the Scrolls, some of the semi-hollows, and a good chance most of the last of the Japanese Epis. I've contacted a number of sources asking when production moved back to the US and to Korea and could never get a definitive answer. 1969-1979 seems to be the consensus on the duration of Japanese Epiphone production.

so far ive picked up an et-270 for $200 in pretty good condition, an ea-250 for $150 with some problems, noted in another thread.

both of these came from music stores with semi decent pricing.

recently ive seen an acoustic in a local store, but its way overpriced and has been sitting there for years.
