Hi all, I'm checking out an ea-250(blue label, made in japan), no ser. # on the neck plate.
Of course, red w/white binding, no whammy, has a floating tail piece, but not the "ornate" version I see in so many of the pics. And the bridge has no wood underneath it. It just bolts straight into the body. But it looks like the original bridge with the sharp edge saddles. Were their versions of rivieras that didn't have the wood base bridge? Nice playing guitar, looks like it's been shimmed, action is very low, very little fret wear, electronics sound really clean. No major divots on the body, just minor blemishes.
Price is $500 Canadian(app. $420 USD).
Can anyone give some input, opinions on this guitar? Is ee quite a few on ebay cheaper, but then I have to deal with shipping to get it here which adds up.

I'm trying to identify my Epiphone Acoustic bought at about the same time 73 - 74 It looks just like the First one in that photo.
I remember it was an FT something *80 or other but the ticket was ruined when some #### left her out in the rain overnight. ( didn't affect the guitar at all: but he'll never forget it.) ...Can you lead me to more pics/ details, please??
( it seems to be a spruce laminate top, mahogany sides and rosewood neck. Jap made. Described as a Jumbo folk at that time.... I paid around £150 for her. )
