Friends:
For several months researching the origin of my guitar and there is little data gathering.
Convinced that only you can give me some light, because I am convinced that the guitar is made in Japan, ask the help of someone who can guide.
Excuse my language but Spanish is translated by Google.
My EPI ES-175 is a great guitar, I'm proud of her and the serial number of seven-digit numbering me towards the Japanese.

I CanĀ“t up images.

Label say: EPI IS A DIVISON OF EPIPHONE - NASHVILLE - TENESSE- MODEL ES-175 - SERIAL 0106001

In the Guitar Dater say made 1990 in Korea. It is imposible. The Guitar is with me before this year.

Hello miomi69
Give it some time to see if one of the epi experts sees your post.

I'm guessing you already checked with the folks over that the Epiphone Forums?

Here is a link just in case. And please let us know what the results are.

Thanks for your prompt response.
The forum gave me EPIPHONE Guitar dater data that I already had and, as I said in my first post, can not be real because no dates are ls, may not be making a year later that I got the guitar. Japanese series I've found numbers similar to mine, and seven figures are very close, that's what makes me think of the possible origin of the Japanese Gutarra. Un saludo

Ended the doubt. I found a guitar in Spain identity and number of Seir is almost corresponding to the mine. The difference is that you have a G in front of the serial, which means that these guitars were made by the Terada factory in the years 80/90.
