I have an Eppi EA-250 with a bit of a story behind it. I fell in love with and bought this guitar used in the early 1981. When my wife to be saw it for the first time, she said she owned it in the 70s. I asked if she meant she owned the same model, she replied that she actually owned the guitar in front of her. She recognized a couple of blems and scratches. We are all still together, me with wife and Eppi.

The guitar has seen a lot of use and I was thinking of doing a restoration on it. I think I need to remove the binding and the top to re-glue the neck block as the cut-a-ways have the typical separation around the binding. If I'm going to go that far I think I will refinish it as well. Anyone ever take one apart before? Any tips?

thanks

PJ

Mate, that is a cool backstory; thanks for sharing it! (It gives the rest of us hope that our old Matts will magically appear in front of us one day!!)

Anyway, show us what you've got, bro, and I'm sure the lads will be along directly to offer sage and valuable advice... :D
