I visited a guitar shop today and they had an old Epiphone ET-270 for sale. I tried it and it was beautiful to play.
The price was 3400 SEK (about $460). Is that a reasonable price? Any thoughts about the guitar? Do you think it will work well for slide playing? Wasn't carrying one at the moment so i could not try...

Probably, but remember you'd have to jack up the action at the bridge and the nut a bit to really see what it was like for slide, and I'll bet the shop would love that!!

Seeing that John is out of action for a few days, I thought I'd have a go at it for him :D .
How's this for a poor attempt :loon: .

Here's my poor attempt, I'm afraid it won't help likewise...

(could not find anything for "iaf" :mad2:)

"I don't think this price fell off the buddy seat"?
... and translation of Mozarts translation:

"I don't believe the price is completely overdone, for a bike rider.
Depending on condition, ofcourse."
... Babylon

Kul med språkförbistringar :D

It was in good condition as far as i could see. The whammy bar may have been missing though, and that may be hard to replace?

Ligger under recensioner.

Bulger.
Original phrase would be "I don´t believe that price is completely up the wall at least."

Mattias.
No matter as far as the wammy bar really as those are fairly easy to reproduce if need be.
I´d say that if the axe is in as good as shape as you say...pick it up and be done with it already.
What i CAN tell you is that they´re not getting any cheaper.

MAA(matsumoku abusers anonymous)-the viking chapter. :loon: :hyper:

Racing, are you abusing the Matts or are they abusing you (i.e. your wallet)? If the former, I run a shelter for abused Matts here. Please send them to me ASAP :D

Wow I got this one in before Jorg :)
