Somewhere here, I saw a link to some exact(?) replacement tuners but can't seem to find it again. :x I have a PE-R60 and would really like to keep the (Kluson?) style without drilling holes but obtain a higher ratio. Possibly lockers?

Try to find a Gotoh catalog (imho Stew-Mac has the dimensions listed in their catalog).... there should be something with the propper spacing available in the Gotoh line-up.

Anyway, you have to search for metric stuff... so the best tuners you can find would be from Schaller or Gotoh.

Hmm, anyone ever try a set of Gotoh 1955 (stewmac) tuners? I'm not a metric expert but the dimensions look to be the same as my PE-R60 tuners. I'd like to replace without drilling at all. I know, they aren't lockers but I haven't found anything close yet. . .
