Hi guys, I'm sorry to hear of your dilemma. I've only seen the bridge in the pix on the information site so forgive me if it's a dumb question but is there nothing "off the shelf" that will do?

If it's a question of being able to play the guitar or just look at it, well...
What exactly is busted on the originals anyway?

Hi

the problem is just that the original bridge is recessed in a rout. As only one saddle is broken it would be much easier to obtain a saddle and replace the broken one than to replace with a whole new bridge. the bridge itself (and the rout) is smaller than a standard hardtail bridge so you can't just buy one and drop it in - replacement would require filling the rout with a wood block to make it flush. Not impossible, but a spare saddle would fix it in 2 minutes flat...

This topic is getting difficult to discuss since there appears to be more than one thread active on it for some reason, but here goes...

Understood about the recessed bridge design. I guess my question is more, can you not replace all the saddles with something standard, rather than go nuts trying to replace the one broken one?

The spacing is either going to be F or G scale (don't know the Cardinal model's, sorry) and surely you can replace the saddles to match? I've just gone around the bend on a similar problem with three Mats guitars with those lousy barrel saddle bridges which made the stringing unstable and inaccurate. Terrible design! Ultimately, I bit the bullet and I'm replacing the entire bridge. You may not easily replace the bridge but I'm sure there are suitable saddles that can be used. The correct scale (spacing) is the key.

no there aren't any other saddles that work
or i wouldn't have made the thread
replacing the bridge isn't all that productive either because the action is compromised

its either buy a new guitar
find someone willing to sell a saddle (upper 3 strings are slightly different than lower 3 strings)
or make custom saddles (all quotes i received were more than replacing guitar for tooling & materials)

Sorry, I'm not trying to be argumentative here, but I am really having trouble believing that the Cardinal's bridge design is so unique as to make it unrepairable or irreplaceable.
We have a lot of very knowledgeable and talented members in these forums who may be able to help, so don't give up hope just yet. But some pictures would be extremely helpful here so that intelligent comment can be made.

sorry
maybe dude will post up some pictures
honestly...i have given up...for a good while now
other than completely buying a replacement and swapping saddles from the new guitar
found one for $150 recently...but still couldn't afford it at the time
if you guys come up with a solution...great...
but i'm not spending any more time on this as i just sold my processor and am generally very unhappy even talking about it
if you couldn't tell
