Hi, I'm looking for a truss rod cover for my TS-300 as I've unfortunately replaced mine. If anyone could help me out here it would be really appreciated. Thanks.

I can send you a tracing of my TS350 cover (for the 6 in line style head) if you want to take a stab at making your own or having one made. PM me with your info if you want it .

Thanks that's really kind of you. I don't think I have the skill or patience to make one myself though :)

I will have another hunt for it. I found an original replacement neck on eBay a few years back and had this fitted. However, I forgot to put the truss rod cover back on afterwards & now can't find it.

Yup. I've done it a few times at the shop too. You feel like such a nob when you hand the guitar back to the customer with the TRC missing. Even worse when no one notices and the customer leaves without it.
Fortunately though it's usually on the bench...somewhere.

I have a system now for when I work on an instrument.

I put all equipment , parts in a empty Folgers or maxell house coffe can ... with lid and put a label of wich instrument it comes from...

Sounds corny i know, but hell a of great system for me so far...

I have about 15 cans beside my desk as I speak... All the ones in repair or in the process of being redone... I never lose any parts now...

I actually do the same thing...most of the time.
On this occasion I didn't and look what happened! Mind you, you still have to remember to put the thing back on no matter where it is!

My currently active project is restoring an upright bass. The parts don't fit in a coffee can so they are in one of those big plastic boxes.
