Are you currently planning a guitar/bass restoration or got a project in mind? Or, are you just getting tired of basic black and wonder what your baby would look like in a screaming tangerine colour with red pickup mounting rings!? Sometimes it's hard to visualize what the final outcome will look like unless you're very good at that sort of thing. Even then it's still a bit of a fuzzy concept.

I came across this great little online program that will let you play with shapes, colours and hardware and virtually design your dream guitar:

I just used it to play around with the colours and trim I have in mind for my current Aria Pro II Urchin restoration project. I had to use a Gibson SG body to sub for the funky Urchin but it was still very helpful in seeing how everything looks together.

Looks similar to what Warmoth and Fujigen have on their websites.

Warmoth's seems more specifically geared to designing the parts of a new guitar.
I couldn't make a whole guitar, just the body or the neck or...
This one is handier for visualizing what an existing restoration would look like with finish and hardware changes.

Yup... of course they are out to sell stuff... the Fujigen is limited to the two body shapes the company offers as well, but gives you the visuals of the finished guitar (including price and order button).
