Hi, guys!

I just impulse bought this project guitar that appears to be Vantage VA-800, or some sort of Aria "neck-through".

http://www.ebay.com/itm/230698884760?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1497.l2649

As you can guess, nothing is included but a bridge, so I'm in desperate need of things like cavity coverts, a brass nut, tuners, string ferrels, etc.

Anyone that has any or all of these items loose, please post a reply to this post and lets get together.

Thanks!

Jammo

... used to be a 22-fret Vantage VA800 Phantom, OR a Korean (Cort) made copy, sold as Mann, Gumika etc.
The out-of-line ferrules lead me to believe the latter. What material are the dot markers made of? MOP=Matsumoku, brass=Cort.

Rats! I knew I should have asked before jumping on this. Just for grins, would you know the scale length? If its a shortie, I'll just turn it into s LP Special or SG. If its a long scale, "Jerry guitar" here I come!

Don't know what the dot markers are, MOP or brass. Guess I'll find out soon enough.

Thanks for the info!

I've seen out-of-line ferrules on Vantages.

Curious what you find.

Cavity covers are fairly easy to make. You can get ferules at stewmac. I don't off hand know any source for brass nuts but a hobby store should have brass stock of a size you can use to make one. I good pic of the back of the head should help find the right tuners to fit without new holes.

Search axemasters on ebay. They have several types of brass nuts.
