Sadly it's time to start letting go of the ones I have hung on to. I hardly play any more and they are just going to waste.
Plus shipping, preferably within the continental US. Overseas I cannot guarantee, and I WILL NOT LIE about it's value since it then cannot be insured against damage or loss.

The PE-60 Classy Lady. Again, when I got it the pickups had been swapped out and were some of the muddiest chinese junk I have ever heard. This guitar now has a Duncan Distortion in the bridge and OBL in the neck. The PO had installed the Bigsby with taste and made no new holes in the front of the body. The original bridge was toast so I installed a new Schaller Roller in it's place which improved vibrato considerably.

$475, includes hardshell case.

Aria Pro II PE-R80. I needed something that was capable of going from bluesy to Zakk Wylde without having to fidgit with the pedal board so the horrid Classic Powers came out and a matched set of OBLs went in. If you are not familiar with OBL, Epiphone for a short while was installing them in their guitars but opted for crappier chinese pickups. I bought all I could find, and all were NEW, in the package replacements kept by dealers. These OBLs are remarkably flexible, and can get as thick as you want them to. I originally had a pair of Jeff Becks in it but they were just a tad too bright for what I was shooting for since I let go of my Carvin. The following info was written before the second pickup swap.

All three guitars are strung with 10s and have been well cared for and are in good shape. They have not been abused, but make no mistake, they were played regularly before the arthritis set in.

I will have to buy guitar shipping boxes so that will have to be added to the shipping costs, but I have enough old newspaper to pack 10 guitars so I'll include that for free.

I've tried to price them reasonably. I suspect with the right pics and writeup I could easily exceed this on ebay that but I'd rather they went to good homes. I have more invested in each, that much is certain.

Those are some of the sweetest guitars I have ever laid eyes on. :toopid:

I tossed a coin 3 times to help me decide.

Have a TA-60 so its between the R-80 and the PE-60

If nobody wants it more than me then I got dibs on the PE-R80.

I'm not going to pretend that I'm sorry to see them up for sale
because I know Crusty still has that killer Supra that I would also kill for :D

I've got to admit that Bixby looks kind of cool on the PE-60.

Well, the Supra and my other R80 only happened because a good friend helped me out, and even if I can only play a few bar chords in time those will have to stay with me. The other R80 was a gift from a German guy in the Land of the Rising Sun.

Got your name on the R80 JB.

I'll be heading into town to get the guitar shippers hopefully tomorrow and get it packed up and a shipping estimate. Will let you know then.

If there is no interest I will probably start prepping the other two for the bay.

Hey Crusty! It's been a while since I posted. I justed wanted to tell everyone that I have basically the same TA-70 as you and I even thought about you putting my name on that one, but that seems kind of silly.

Anyway, just to let everyone know that if you are into a largerish hollowish guitar or contemplated it, this has become my all time favorite guitar playability wise. I also have the SD pickups in it and am so happy with the sounds.

Don't hesitate on this one it is a absolutely fabulous guitar to play. And the neck - wow!

PS, didn't my original pickups end up in one of your other guitars? You mentioned that a few years back when I got it.

I'm trying to get the green light on that TA but don't think she's gonna change her mind. . .

I was seriously thinking about that TA-70 also but since I already have the smaller brother TA-60
it made more sense to go for one of the others.

My TA-60 is one of the most enjoyable guitars to play.

The neck is to die for and the sound, well, that's what dreams are made of.

If that is any indication I figure the TA-70 is superior going by the specs
which show it comes with better options.

It is larger than the TA-60. Closer to a ES-335 in size.
