Hey, Cosair!

How do you get close enough to one of them weasels to collect some of that?

I want my guitar to play like that!

Welcome to the forums Jammo!...if you like that guitar...then you'll really get serious GAS, when you see all the other "Uncle Mats" that were made  . Enjoy your new axe! :D

Hey, Skylark41!

Thanks for the welcome.

As a long time sufferer of GAS, I'm well aware of what triggers it. Seeing your beautiful guitar as an avatar has given me the sweats.

Jammo

Hi Jammo, as if you didn't feel welcome enough yet, another warm welcome from me :) .
The Vantage VA900 and the Skylark 2588 are very closely related. I am lucky enough to own both, and I can't say I prefer one over the other.
Here you can find more on the Skylark: http://www.guitardir.com/specs.php?Node ... &Context=3

Hello from Austria. (No - we're no Aussies :D )

Welcome here! As for cases : my VA900 is sleeping in a 104cm long (inner length) square "Rockcase" made by Warwick.
Fits like a glove. But I'm sure you'll find other cases for longscale guitars on eboink. I've finally found one for my 106 cm long VA912! :) (don't ask me about "inches" )
Out of the case my 900 looks like this:
http://www.matsumoku.org/ggboard/viewtopic.php?f=13&t=5845&hilit=va+900+NOS&start=20#p35640

Talking 'bout GAS: I'm a case fanatic! At the moment I've got more cases than guitars. Empty cases are useless - but I've got a plan!
