I've just had a look at the exponential members development:
registrations: 2002: 10
2003: 4
2004: 14
2005: 11
2006: 33
2007: 200
2008: 222
2009: 276

(2010: 46)
pure mathematics: this year we will welcome the 1000th member, in 2012/13 member no. 2000 !!

what does this mean :
more guitars, more infos, more specs, more knowledge, more international contacts, more fun, more
collections, more.....................
.............and prices that will keep us weeping and crying and gnashing our teeth :( :bawl: :yipes:

I think you're right.
For some time now I've been remarking how the Mats' "supply" seems to be drying up locally. And the prices generally speaking have been on the rise too, especially on evilBay.

Ya know it wasn't too long ago that people's brow would wrinkle when you mentioned a MATS brand. They never heard of them. Now? There is recognition factor that wasn't there before. As I keep saying, "the word is out!"
Bad for MAA members, good for this forum. Bad if yer buyin', good if yer sellin'.
Get em while you can boys and girls, I think once the recession is under control these things will really take off.

Meanwhile, HAPPY WINTER OLYMPICS!! and GO CANADA!
(um, send snow...as I write this is raining cats and dogs on the ski slopes in Vancouver)

First gold medal is in: Sven Kramer took the speed skating 5000 meters! :hyper:
A for the more important issues ( :P ) : bad for buying, that's right. But also good for 'keeping'. I don't plan to sell any of my Vantage's 'till the day my fingers start falling off  .

Poutine = heart attack in a bowl.
Fries, gravy, and cheese curds???? And likely ketchup too!

What a horrible mess.
Don't know whether to spear it, spoon it, or drink it. No thanks.
