I've seen a number of Greco guitars by Matsumoku starting to pop up and possibly even Ibanez. This is a very well renowned brand that most people associate with FujiGen Gakki yet the Matsumoku link is virtually unknown.

Due to the high profile Greco and Ibanez enjoy how about the creation of a sub-forum like there is for Skylark?

...just a thought. :D

If so, we should also get a Burny sub-forum. They aren't all that common, but Matsumoku produced Burny's in 1985-1986(iirc).

First off, thanks to JarockSG for that interesting link!
But I see additional sub-forums as an unnecessary clutter. The main issue I have is that many of the labels were also produced by companies other than Mats, Epiphone and Fender for example. While it is relatively easy to discern if the instrument in question is MIJ, you then get into a hair-tearing fit trying to determine if it's a Mats or not.

We already have a forum for "Other Mats" and "Other Japanese Invasion Guitars" so I don't know if we are served any better by further subdividing the forum. There's not much doubt about Lyle but an Epi or Strat can be problematic. Then there's the added maintenance for the Mods. Something posted in the Mats-Epiphone forum only to be shown later that it's a FujiGen would need to be moved.

Starting a new "Thread" about a specific brand/model is an easy way to share also
