I don't think it was a neck-thru, you could see a bit of the maple below the last frets, extending into the body (but close to the neck pickup).
I'll double check ASAP, because Manson (the owner of Bob's Music) isn't into Vantages, and doesn't know much about them. :toopid:

Here's the Info...The 5-string is a 755BA, with a bolt-on neck. The 4-string is a 725b, bolt-on.
BOTH have a "half moon" style cutout around the neck screw ferrules (from the top of the lower horn, to the bottom of the upper one).
Any other questions?

Yep, that's them (except the 5-string has ACTIVE pickups), cool.
Did Vantage use re-badged EMGs...or were they their own pickups?

The ones I've seen (from several Samick Korea made SuperStrat models) looked a lot like EMG's, but had no markings anywhere to indicate they actually were EMG-made.
For now, I'd say they're EMG-clones.

This thread is now becoming more and more 'off-topic' (Sorry, nothing to do with Matsumoku). If someone has something on the mentioned Aria Pro II bass ...
