I recently found an older Vantage bass at a local music store, and I seriously doubt anyone there has a what it actually is.
I'll go back and give it a decent look over, to get some details on it (serial #,model #,etc.
So, if anybody's interested..let me know and I'll post the info ASAP. I also found another decent bass there, but that's for a different forum section (FYI, it an Aria Pro II, RSB Deluxe, in great condition!). PM me for details on either bass, and I'll reply ASAP.
More to come.
Norm

I suspect this would be allowed providing you post the address and phone number of the store (and web site if there is one) so interested parties can contact the store directly. Going through a member is pretty much "for sale".

it's at Bob's Music, 32 Plattsburgh Plaza, Plattsburgh,NY12901
Phone # (518) 561-5656 (Ask for Manson, or Dan, and tell them Norm told you about it).

I think the bass is selling for $150-$200, so grab it while it's still there!
Good Luck & happy hunting! :)

Bob's website was down, but it's back up, for anyone interested in that Vantage bass. :)

Just curious, I'm too far away anyway, but the Vantage bass isn't anywhere on their website, is it?

Nope, but I can tell you all about it, I went and played it last week.
The 5 string is trans-blue, and the 4 string is black. Both have the same controls, and are in good-to excellent condition.
PM me if you'd like my actual e-mail, to correspond further. And , YES..the other bass is STILL there as well (the Aria Pro II). :D
Thanx,
Norm

... wait a minute. I have allready PM'med you, but I think I got the answer already. Neck-thru 5-string Vantage bass guitar. Wings trans-blue ... pointy headstock, three tuners on the upper side, two on the lower? P-bass style PU on neck, J-bass style PU on bridge position? Four control knobs in diamond-formation? Extremely long and pointy upper horn and short lower horn?
If this is about right, we're talking about a 1993(or later) Korean-made 955BA ...

The black one, if the same general shape, would probably be a 725B (bolt-on) or 825B (set-in) from the same age and make.
