Where's the SquidHead when you need him anyway? :look:

Squid's been squashed by the Swine Flu...then pneumonia. Looks like I'm finally on the mend now, after about 6 weeks of sick.

I got the first illness after an Alice Cooper concert, then the Swine Flu at a Metallica concert. I'm stayin' home for a while...

The Cooper show was good fun (even though we lost our backstage passes from a technicality), Damon Johnson is a long-time favorite of mine & he + the whole band kicked ass for the entire show.

The Metallica show was very good- their manager is one of my old clients that I became friends with, and he's hooked me up with some killer tickets recently. These were 4th row center, really couldn't have been better- we were eye-level with the players and they didn't let up for a second for 2+ hours. It's a real shame about the girl that went missing during the show, that put a damper on things after the show (Morgan Dana Harrington). I can only hope that there's a happy resolution to that...tough situation.

I talked to this guy on the phone a few times. He wants way too much for these guitars. I tried to negotiate, and reason with him, with no luck at all. Said he would even ship it to me if I paid his price. I wasn't willing to do so since I can buy an avenger on eboink for half his asking.
