Not sure how many are still there, since there is no date on the page... but my god they are beautiful. Someone should save the pics anyways for archive purposes. Absoulutely pristine.

If you live in the New York area, probably worth going down to check them out.

They've all bar one been 'modified' with a stupid Fender output jack!! That 310 body looks pretty sweet....

Are you sure they've been modified? The main models page for the Avenger has a pic of the 330MX, and it has the same output jack, near as I can tell.

I don't know that this is the same guy but about a year ago there was someone on e-bay going by Jack's Guitars that had several Avengers. People had problems getting questions answered and if I remember correctly one sale did not go through.

Not sure but this may very well be the same guy. If so, he had the guitars listed multiple times at different prices and couldn't give answers to basic questions about them.
Hmm, I wonder how much he wants for the naked one?

Yep! No doubt they've been refinished. (Actually I do like some of the new colours! Suits the guitar very well.) The input jack though? Dunno 'bout that. Highly unlikely that they're all 330MX's methinks, but who knows? And of course...no brass knobs!
All in all, they do look good though.

And for what it's worth, the AV310 that I'm currently refinishing also has "33" in the pup cavity as does that nekkid one. I guess it referred to the original finish???

I disagree. I believe they're all bone stock.

Huh? :dunno: I don't think these are stock at all.

The colours are not original (beautiful but not original), the knobs are not original, and what makes me scratch my head is the truss rod adjustment is at the bottom of the neck not on the headstock. If these are "real" then they have been preserved in amber since the 80's and never ever touched by human hands!

Where's the SquidHead when you need him anyway? :look:

The trans-black 325 and the X-33 'burst look stock to me. The others do kind of look "too perfect", but my Avenger has the truss rod adjustment in the same place at the bottom of the neck. The bridges look similar to the trem on my '84 as well. The ones with painted headstocks look kind of suspicious, but still gorgeous. And the naked 310 just looks amazing. :hyper:

Doesn't it, though!!! In the catalogue I sent in there's a 310 finished the same; utterly gorgeous....

I see the 330MX has the Fender jack, but I'm not convinced about the others... however, I could be wrong. What makes you sure, Jorg?
