I traded a buddy of mine for this Pan project . Most of the original pieces were there minus the nut , the bridge , pick guard , half the tremolo system , and a pick up ring . included was a new bridge and tailpiece .

I fabricated a pick up ring out of triple layer pick guard material , I made it a bit wider than the orginal ring for a bit more strength because the pick up sits pretty high in the ring and the springs puts some good pressure on the ring . I also added a new nut , and shaved down the bridge. Pu on new set of 46 - 10's and boom here she is.

Looks like the first one on this page

http://www.matsumoku.org/models/aria/ho ... g/sig.html

It was a great Sunday project and it turned out great , Cosmetically it's in great shape with minor edge wear and a couple of dings on he neck . It sounds and plays as expected , sweet !!

I do have part of the original tremolo system and wouldn't mind finding the rest of it and original bridge. Not that I care for/use a tremolo but bringing her back to stock is always the end intention .

Great job!

I find she looks amazing the way she is right now... the tremolo on these are not the greatest....

Enjoy your nice vintage axe....

I think she looks great just as she sits now! :freaksmile2:
I'm not a big fan of tremolo bridges on this style of guitar, they just don't look right to me.
Nice job on the resto.

Very nice and as others have said probably better than original. Quick projects are great (they get finished).

Very pretty! Are those big single-coils?

I'd also stay with the trapeze, myself.

Thanks for the kind words guys , It is always a pleasure when project work's out with no glitches . Yes they are single coils , no markings anywhere . After I posted this I tried swapping these 2 bridges around ,I figured it's supposed to be a roller bridge so try it .. The bone bridge actually sounds mellower than the roller , I think I will leave it as it is

Just in the process of finishing up the 3rd project on my Raven. Also made new pickup rings to accommodated a set of GFS min HB 59's. I decided to go with a Bigsby B30 instead of dealing with the stock trem. Just need to put it all back together tonight.
