Hello all.
I came across this one on Reverb. It's at Beyer's Music in Cologne, Germany.
https://reverb.com/item/20253685-aria-p ... or-nt-1982It's listed as a 1982 "The Warrior."
The headstock is labelled "The Warrior"--which I would think makes it an RS Warrior 1 or 2, but I think it's a 1986.
Look at the fourth pic in the listing (you have to right click and "view image" to get the full resolution pic). Zoom all the way in, and there's a stamped serial # on the bottom of the headstock--to me it looks like "60006?...", which would make it a 1986 "Latecomer." Seems to have some aspects in common with the nicer Korean Samick models (body carve, non-standard fingerboard extension, neck dot position markers aren't like the tiny dots on the Samicks).
NOTE: Some of the serial # is obscured by the guitar stand, and I don't remember seeing a stamped serial # on an 80s AP2. I guess it's just as likely it's a post-MAT model.
I REALLY want this one for myself (it wouldn't bother me if it is post-MAT), but I can't afford it--and if I could, the last time I tried to have a guitar imported US regulations blocked it in spite of there being no CITES issues--so I'd be reticent to try it again.
I thought if some of the European members liked it (Super Str@s from this era are my favorites), they might be able to negotiate better terms (and not have to deal with restrictive customs).
Cheers.
