Congratulations, she's a beauty Pierre!
I have its twin that I picked up 12 years ago!
Here's the back story:
viewtopic.php?f=13&t=5810I really love this guitar, in fact I just had it out on rotation. It was a bit of a fixer-upper and I think it had been exposed to a lot of dampness. Both MMK45's eventually failed with coil rot!
I recently put two good '45 coils together to make one good bridge pup, but the neck died again and I replaced it with a 'new, real' UBC (Westone's Unbalanced Coil) wound by
Westbone (Damian) over at the Westone Forums. It's in the neck and the old gal sounds fantastic.
This is one of my favourite Les Paul style guitars, just a terrific player!
