At least i'm pretty sure it's a 710.?

Looks to be all original including the case (which seems like it's in decent shape). Currently at $251 but will surely go up a bit, still worth a look for all you mats lovers out there! I don't need it but i might even have a go at it. Probably not.... but why rule out the possibility so soon!

Looks in really good shape. That will likely break $500.

If you factor in shipping it went for over $600. And to think I bought and then sold an 800 for $400. Does this make me an id10t? Not really because it went to someone who appreciates it for the instrument it is. Let's hope this one went to an equally enlightened individual. They simply don't make them like this any more.

Yup, that's definitely a VP710 and is identical to mine: http://www.matsumoku.org/ggboard/viewtopic.php?f=13&t=11901&start=0

What a beautiful instrument this is, and the MMK61/MMK53 pickup combination is superb!
Nice to have the OHSC as well. Bonus!

If you were thinking about getting this one, I hope you got it !!

Chafes mine too. Friggin guitar flippers. Maybe I should have bid on it. I'd play it for a while then let it go to a member for exactly what it cost me.

The FB group Vantage Guitars Kick A** spotted the flipping early on. The lazy p**** didn't even bother to take new pics, just used those from Goodwill. I am guilty of using pics from shopgoodwill.com but they were of guitars I won or was illustrating a point, not to fleece potential buyers.

eBay does not care if stolen images are used but Reverb does, very much. Maybe someone will report it there.

A bloody shame.
Dontcha just want to kick guys like this in the nuts?! :scream:
It deprives genuine collectors and lovers of the brand from an opportunity to obtain a beautiful example at reasonable cost.

The only good thing about it. . .at least he didn't part it out for maximum profit! A-holes who destroy a perfectly playable guitar to sell the components at inflated prices are the absolute worst kind of low life scum in this market.

Guitar junkyarders are the worst of the bunch. Too many times I've seen a COMPLETE guitar listed in parts on eBull. I can see salvaging a non-functional guitar but to part out a perfectly good guitar is just plain wrong. Yes, it could be an owner of a broken guitar needs a part to restore his instrument but to part out one purely for profit demonstrates why I'm not to hip to people in general. :x

Just last night I saw 2 examples on the Fleabay Kleinanzeige here in Germany, one a Mats LP and an Arirang LP - both with the PU's removed. At least the seller isn't trying to get "collectors" prices, but one of the photos of his other offerings shows a container of "spare" parts including PU's.
