A word about
registration and e-mail addresses
The only
thing required for registration is a
valid, working e-mail address. The
forums will use this address to send you a
validation link to visit. Without
that link it is impossible to log in and
use your new account.
Be sure to
check your spam/junk folder for the
activation email if it doesn't arrive in
your inbox. Whitelist or mark email from
the forums as not spam so you don't need
to check your spam/junk folder for
notifications.
.
You
needn't register to browse the forums. All
but the Moderator's Holdover
is visible and readable by guests. If you
choose to register, that's great!
Meet the gang. :) If not, just poke
around, no harm done.
.
If
you have any questions or concerns about
registration please DO read the
information HERE
as it answers common questions
and concerns and will put your mind at
ease.
.
Guidelines
There
are a few golden rules that will remain
golden.
Each
forum has it's own specific guidelines
and are the first post in any forum.
Please read them before posting in that
forum. Not doing so could make
more work for the moderators and admins.
.
No
flaming, personal attacks, or
name-calling - All of us have a
temper
from time to time. We'll do our best to
keep it at bay. We ask you do the
same.
.
"For
Sale" forum is for site specific
items and is not provided as a sales
outlet for anything other than site
related items. Scamming will not be
tolerated. Links to online sale sites
such as Craigslist or eBay are not
permitted. Only person to person
transactions. No commercial use at all.
There are many other venues for for
profit entities to advertise on. All
transactions will be up front. No back
door deals or back door bidding.
Such inconsiderate actions are a clear
indication that there should be
not trust. There is a forum dedicated to
items listed online such as eBay
and all posts which contain links to an
eBay or Craigslist listing
should go there. Links such as this in
any other forum will be moved to
the appropriate forum or the link
unfortunately removed.
.
No
profanity - Nothing stronger than
what you would hear on WB television
(family television). We come from all
walks of life, all professions, all
beliefs, and preferences. There are many
ways to say something, and profanity
shows little respect for others and a
lack of creativity. There are bikers
posting right alongside clergy, and it
works here because of this rule.
Please, don't alter spelling or use
creative methods to get past the
filters.
This shows little respect for this
simple request.
.
No
hotlinking - Hotlinking means using the
Img or Url tags (buttons) to point
to an image on a server you do not have
permission to link to. This includes
eBay images. When a domain owner notices
hotlinks from these forums We
sometimes get a nasty letter, and We
really don't like getting them.
.
In short...
Simply
show respect and courtesy and all will be
fine. After all, we're here for
our passion in these guitars, right? The
full version of these guidelines
can be read HERE
which includes helpful tips to use when
posting. If something goes wrong
with your registratoin, don't panic. Check
HERE
to see if it applies, and if all else
fails drop a note to the Forums
Admin.
.
We
hope all who visit will tread lightly
and use the board for it's intended
purpose.
Thanks
for reading, and Welcome!
