The Guitar Gallery Site Overview and how YOU can help
.
Those of you that would like to help, please read on!
What we are in desperate need of is catalog/slick scans that cover exact specifications for the models we are trying to document in the "Model/Label Specs" section. Naturally the obvious such as "2V, 2T, 3-Way" is easy to see in what pics are available. What is more difficult to confirm is woods, colors/finishes available, years offered, type of pickups, type of nut, and the like that only a catalog or slick will confirm. Bear in mind in order to be positive, although we would love to, we cannot take something for gospel without catalog/slick confirmation. Our objective here is to be as accurate as possible as it makes little sense to put this much effort and time into something if I don't intend to do it right to start out with.
.
The ideal would be color scans of at least 400 dots per inch at 16-bit color or better, but beggars can't be choosers and we will gratefully accept anything you can offer to compliment this effort. We are able to shrink an image without much loss in quality/legibility but enlarging tends to smear or blur an image so the larger the better. Color photocopies would also work but do not scan well at times, but is ALWAYS is better than nothing.

\The Message Board/Forums
We know many of you have accumulated information on these wonderful instruments (sometimes through great effort), and we urge you to share this knowledge with each other. Also, many people have e-mailed us with questions we could not possibly answer. We will politely re-direct all general guitar questions back to the site and the Message Board. We're hoping more of you with a passion for these guitars will set up a login on the board and make use of it. We've noticed a lot of people cruise the board, so why not create a login and get the board moving?

The Arai-Matsumoku Story  Model/Label Specs Pages
Many people have asked about the history of their guitars and the company that made them. Here you'll find a brief history of the company and the milestones. It is not complete yet, but does cover the highlights. The Model/Specs section is an ever growing list of specs and pics of the Aria/Matsumoku guitars. Your help would be greatly appreciated if you have official specs, pics, or catalog scans/copies you can contribute towards this compilation. Your contributions will not go unrecognized!

We ask that any general guitar questions be posted on the message board. In the past we have been flooded with e-mailed questions, many of which we could not directly answer. Just so it's said:
We don't recieve any compensation for ads, endorsements, or the like. If we provide links to or endorse other sites, including commercial sites, we do so because we choose. You won't see any annoying banner ads or pop-up windows here! Yuck! We want this to remain an independent project and would rather shut it down than "go commercial". We will never ask for money directly from you, and ony accept small donations to help cover site costs. We do this because I want to! The only other contributions we will accept are for content, and yup, that's a hint. =] We do reserve the right to determine what content is appropriate and acceptable, meaning we can't very well post pictures of people flipping the bird, in excessive states of undress, or language not acceptable for public use. Kids come here too, and the last thing we need is some angry parent on our backs because his child learned a "new word" here. =] Please don't send us links to sites that contain questionable material as mentioned above. We cannot use them. Search engines will see this and censor us, or possibly even delete us from their database for that. We are trying very hard to keep the content of this site as appropriate as possible for all who visit, and we have to keep everyone in mind. We hope you understand.
